Elizabeth "Liz" R. Flitcroft

DELAVAN – Elizabeth “Liz” R. Flitcroft, age 67, of Delavan passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  She was born in Elkhorn on November 4, 1956 to Ignatz and Myrtle (Wolff) Endl.  Liz graduated from East Troy High School class of 1974.  In 1995 Liz married Dan, the love of her life and they were together for 23 years.  Liz had a passion for flowers and gardening and being out in her yard.  She loved her girls’ trips and traveling.  She retired from Micro Precision in 2023 after 21 years.  Prior to Micro Precision, Liz worked at Ajay for 25 years. 

Liz is survived by her five sisters, Germaine Roeling, of Burlington, Dorothy Hertz, of Delavan, Barbara (Ray) Vance, of Beloit, Margaret (Randy) Johnson, of Menomonee Falls, and Hazel (Roger) Schmidt, of Elkhorn; two stepsons, Joe (Kim) Flitcroft, of Delavan, Ben (Brittany) Flitcroft, of Lake Mills; additional family, John (Bonnie) Flitcroft, of Burlington, Kathy (Dan) Pyfer, of South Beloit, Mike (Jackie) Flitcroft, of Delavan, Don (Betty) Flitcroft, of Whitewater, Diane (Randy) Licht, of Elkhorn; grandchildren, Paige (Brady) Colden, Katie Flitcroft, Michael (Laura) Sterken, Laikyn and Breken Flitcroft; three great grandchildren, Brooke, Brady, and Finn; many nieces and nephews; and her special companion, Gordy Downing and his children Renee and Rich.

Liz is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Flitcroft; her parents; Ignatz and Myrtle; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Delores Flitcroft; brother, Jerome Endl; sister, Florence Jones; and brother-in-law, Gary Flitcroft.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church, N5690 Cobblestone Road in Elkhorn.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan and an hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the church.  Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.
