DELAVAN – Carmen L. Doherty, age 88, of Delavan passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan. She was born on January 5, 1937 in Hammond, IN to Alfred and Patricia Laney. Carmen was Vice President and co-owner of the Wisconsin State Bank for many years. Carmen was united in marriage to Donald Duane Doherty. They started Oktoberfest in Delavan and were very active in the community. Carmen also enjoyed traveling.
Carmen is survived by her son, Joseph Doherty, of Elkhorn; sister, Patricia Guetschow, of Newark, DE; niece, Kate Guetschow, of Portland, OR; and nephew, Jonathan Guetschow, of Portland, OR.
Carmen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; and her sister, Frances Laney.
