WILLIAMS BAY - John R. McMullen, age 79, of Williams Bay passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Williams Bay Health Services. He was born on June 1, 1945 to William and Elizabeth (Jameison) McMullen in Newark, NJ. John served in the U.S. Marines and served during Vietnam. He worked as an iron worker in New Jersey for many years. John was united in marriage to Karen Hess. She passed away in 2018. John loved crabbing off the Jersey shore and having barbecues. He also enjoyed restoring old cars as a young man.
John is survived by his daughter, Carrie Nolan, of Williams Bay; son, John McMullen Jr; grandchildren, Kyreland, Shea, and Braiya Lee Nolan; and sister-in-law, Lynn McMullen, of Bloomsburg, NJ.
John is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Karen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sherwood Lodge, 116 Cherry Street in Williams Bay.
